A day of interaction and exchange for artists and organisers from Devon and Cornwall. Saturday, 23 April 2016 from 1 – 7pm , The Exchange, Princes Street, Penzance

Artists, curators, organisations, writers and independent producers from across the region met to socialise, network and learn from one another. Swarm celebrated the work being done by artists and creative producers in Cornwall and Devon; offering professional advice from a range of industry experts and providing a platform to make the connections needed to jump start new collaborations. Swarm was established to foster and strengthen support between these wild, westerly and sometimes remote neighbouring counties.

Participants included; Back Lane West, Keiken, Low Profile, Karst, Preston Street Union, Field Notes, Topos, Fish Factory, W.A.N.K., Medium Rare, Counter, PAC Home, Howl Projects, Newlyn Art Gallery & The Exchange, Unveil’d, Ocean Studios, Cast Café and many more.

The day included Pecha Kucha talks, surgeries, speed networking and artist interventions. It was brought to a close with a delicious dinner provided by Dom Bailey of CAST Café and drinks from The Exchange bar.
